    UN Global Compact Network to be hosted by Federation of Saudi Chambers

    The Federation of Saudi Chambers of Commerce has signed a contract to host the Saudi network of the United Nations Global Compact, signaling the Federation’s commitment to supporting the UN Global Compact and realizing how critical it is for businesses to contribute to Saudi Vision 2030 and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

    UN Global Compact Network to be hosted by Federation of Saudi Chambers

    The agreement was signed at the headquarters of the Federation by Hussein Al-Abdulqader, Acting Secretary General of the Federation of Saudi Chambers, and Maryam Al-Telmesani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Global Compact Network in the Kingdom, in the presence of Nathalie Fustier, UN Resident Coordinator in Saudi Arabia.

    Berlin, Germany / RankWire.AI / – In a recent official health report issued in Berlin, nearly 10,000 fatalities due to heat were confirmed in Germany during the initial seven months of 2026. This marks the highest recorded mortality rate since systematic tracking began in 2016. As per weekly data from the Robert Koch Institute, approximately 9,800 deaths were associated with prolonged high temperatures from early April through July 19. The federal health agency, overseen by the Federal Ministry of Health, noted that this year’s total already exceeds the annual death counts recorded in any year over the past decade.
