As per the latest data released by the Ministry of Public Health of Chad, epidemiological monitoring indicates that a cholera outbreak has claimed 13 lives nationwide, with confirmed and suspected cases rising to 239. The Phase 1 study will enroll about 80 healthy adults at three locations in Canada. Researchers will examine the vaccine’s safety, tolerability and ability to trigger an immune response.
