    Top real estate investors in Turkey include Iran, Iraq, and Kuwait

    Kuwaitis were ranked eighth on the list of foreigners who purchased real estate in Turkey according to newly released Turkish statistics. Kuwaitis bought 156 properties in March, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute. The report added that Iranians came first with 784 real estate properties, Iraqis came in second with 741, Russians ranked third with 547, with Germans 244, Kazakhs 241, Afghans 214 and Ukrainians 168 among other top nationalities buying property in Turkey.

    Top real estate investors in Turkey include Iran, Iraq, and Kuwait in TurkeyAn unprecedented number of foreigners bought foreign property in Turkey last month, with the number of foreign properties bought in the country increasing by 31 percent compared to the same period in 2021 rising to 5,567. Among the top real estate-selling cities, Istanbul had 2,245 sales, followed by Antalia with 434 and Ankara with 347. With a total number of 14,344 real estate transactions in Q1 2022, sales grew by 45.1% over the same period in 2021.
