Notably, the airline has augmented its weekly departures by nearly 27 percent for the upcoming Summer 2024 season compared to the previous year, further solidifying its position in the aviation market. In a bid to strengthen its foothold in the Indian subcontinent, Etihad Airways commenced daily flights from Abu Dhabi (AUH) to Kozhikode (CCJ) and Thiruvananthapuram (TRV) in the Kerala region.

This expansion brings the total number of Indian gateways served by Etihad to 10, reflecting the airline’s commitment to enhancing connectivity and accessibility for passengers. With the successful inauguration of Abu Dhabi’s Zayed International Airport as its new hub, Etihad Airways anticipates further growth opportunities in 2024. As the airline’s network and flight frequencies continue to expand, it remains poised to introduce more travelers to the exceptional onboard experience synonymous with the Etihad brand.
