Egypt received about $47.3 billion during fiscal 2025/2026, up 29.6% from $36.5 billion in the previous fiscal year. June 2026 brought in about $4.2 billion, compared with $3.6 billion in June 2025. That monthly increase was 15.6%. The fiscal year covered July 2025 through June 2026, while the latest seven-month figure tracks January through July 2026. In dollar terms, the fiscal-year increase was about $10.8 billion.

Calendar-year data also recorded higher inflows. Remittances reached about $41.5 billion in 2025, an increase of 40.5% from approximately $29.6 billion in 2024. That represented a gain of about $11.9 billion. During the first half of fiscal 2025/2026, inflows totaled about $22.1 billion. The comparable six-month figure one year earlier was $17.1 billion.
